I am testing WordPress 4.7 in a sandbox before applying the WP 4.7 update to my production site. I have WooCommerce Extra Charges To Payment Gateway (Standard) 1.0.10 plugin installed and activated. For all payment types except for the payment type with an extra charge, the WooCommerce Checkout Page is missing the required checkout fields (name, e-mail, phone, etc). When I select a payment type that has an extra charge, the required Checkout Fields appear. When I deactivate the WCECTPG plugin, the checkout fields appear as expected for all payment types. The WCECTPG plugin works fine with WP 4.6.1 and WC 2.6.9 and I have no issues with the Checkout Fields in WP 4.6.1.

Have you observed this problem and if so, how can I fix this so that I can upgrade my production site to WP 4.7 and continue to use WooCommerce Extra Charges To Payment Gateway (Standard) plugin? Thank you.

The WordPress environment where I observe this problem with the missing Checkout Fields is as follows:

    • WordPress 4.7
    • WooCommerce 2.6.9
    • WooCommerce Extra Charges To Payment Gateway (Standard) 1.0.10
    • Theme: Fruitful 3.3.1

Thank you very much for your help and for a great plugin!

  • The problem was NOT with your plugin. I apologize for the false alarm. The problem was the way that I was overriding checkout fields in my child theme’s function.php.

Thank you for this great plugin. It’s working perfectly for me.
