Woocommerce checkout checkbox doesn’t work

    Hi,
    It’s a great pity I met an issue with a subscription checkbox on woocommerce checkout page. It doesn’t work for a new customer. When a new customer DOESN’T check “to subscribe” and registers on the checkout page he is registered and automatically subscribed inspite of this checkbox. The default setting for this checkbox is “unhecked”.
    Whould you be so kind to correct this behavier?

    Hi @fedorka,

    Could you confirm they are added to the WooCommerce Customers list even without opting-in to receive your newsletters?

    In many cases, the customers are also registered as WordPress Users, and so they’re automatically added to the WordPress Users List before being added to the WooCommerce Customers List.

    However, in both cases, they need to confirm their subscription via email to change their status to “Subscribed”.
