I’m using the latest issue of WP & WooCommerce.
I had a query re eCommerce. Our business has just moved over to the WordPress platform we’re a niche company that specialises in corporate events. In essence, most of our business is derives from bespoke packages – but we also offer some off the shelf products.
We require a system where we can manually add orders into the backend, and indeed Woo seems to support this. We do have something that’s puzzling us somewhat though.
We’ve set our products up – we want some products to be available to the public and others private and not to show within our cart. The products which we want to remain unseen to the public have been set up as private products as we generally use these products for our corporate packages.
When we go to manually enter these (i.e we want to add 3 or 4 of these private products as a manual order) in the back end (orders menu item) when we click add order – the search box doesn’t find anything and behaves a bit weirdly, sometimes keys don’t register correctly.
In essence what’s the easiest way to add products (which the public cannot see in our cart area) which can be used for orders manually for a specific amount. We really require this for our books. We’d like to be able to do this from the backend rather than the frontend.
Hope you can understand, my English isn’t great.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
