    Hi Folks
    I have a Woocommerce store hosted on WordPress.

    The automated order emails such as Order Confirmed, Order Processing etc. Are being marked as “Unauthenticated Mail” on the recipients end.

    Direct emails from this email address are not an issue. SPF and Dkim records are added.

    This happens, due to setting “From” address in Woocommerce email settings.

    Hi there,

    Just to make sure, when saying “This happens, due to setting “From” address in Woocommerce email settings.” –> Is that email domain different from the one where the site is hosted on?

    Hi RK,

    No. Both the domains are same.

    Site is hosted on :rareminimaldotcom
    “From” address in email section of Woocommerce plugin is set as info@rareminimaldotcom

    Hey there!

    There’s not too much that we can do on our end to make sure the recipient doesn’t mark the emails as “unauthenticated”. Here’s some suggestions that might help with that though

    I would suggest setting up an account at one of the dedicated SMTP providers I’ve listed below. All have free account plans available and typically can be set up in a matter of minutes. Each service also has a plugin available on WordPress.org which makes the setup process easy.

    * http://www.mailgun.com/http://wordpress.org/plugins/mailgun/

    You can also use a plugin called WP Mail SMTP(https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/)  which will allow you to send email to any functional address, even one you create from your web host.

    Thanks.

    Neither of the above methods seem to fix the issues.

    To explain a bit further, Gmail is tagging these automated Woocommerce mails as Unauthenticated.

    Only those in which I am setting a forced “From” value as [ Redacted, support is not offered via email, Skype, instant messenger, etc. ]
