Woocommerce – Adding Product Short Description to Quick Edit menu?

    I’ve been searching for a while for an answer to my particular query with no luck.

    My company use WooCommerce to sell subscriptions via our website, but every month I have to update the latest issue number and release date on each magazine (nearly 200 items). At the moment, this information is in the ‘Product Short Description’ textbox and I edit each product page individually, but if I could add the ‘Product Short Description’ to the Quick Edit menu, it would speed up the time this takes. I’ve tried the ‘Custom Bulk/Quick Edit by Aihrus’ plugin, which is great for editing post excerpts in the Quick Edit menu but, alas, it does not work the same way for WooCommerce ‘Product Short Descriptions’. I understand I’ll have to edit the functions.php in my child theme (I’ve seen a few guides for adding custom items to the Quick Edit menu), but if someone could point me in the right direction as to what to do, I’d be moooost grateful.

    Did you find a solution to your problem?

    I have the same issue. Additionally I would like to quick edit the normal “product description”, because it includes some fast changing info in our case.

    Hope we can find a way to get it done!
