Support » Plugin: AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages » Woocommerce access is NOT free

  • A large percentage of websites using WP are Woocommerce based, with this plugin you have to pay for a plugin so that you can use Woocommerce on your website. This plugin blocks access to any Woocommerce pages on mobile. Visitors to your website can click on the Shop link, but they will only get an empty archive page with no way of accessing your shop area.

Unless you are prepared to pay a high premium price for this facility, I would not recommend this plugin.

    Hi @fleetva,

Yes you are correct, you have to buy the “AMP WooCommerce PRO” extension for making your single products as well as the shop page in AMP BUT if you don’t buy our extension and you use our free AMPforWP plugin for your normal posts, pages etc… then we don’t do anything to your single products pages and also your shop pages and there will run as normal in the non-AMP version only and AMP version will not be generated for those pages.

For example – This is your shop page – http://ampforwp.magazine3.com/shop/ and if you don’t have our AMP WooCommerce PRO extension then your shop page will be same as above and it will appear same and if you have our extension then only it will go to AMP version and same in single posts as well http://ampforwp.magazine3.com/product/album/.

Will you please provide us your website URL where it is showing empty? because if you don’t purchase then it will show the non-amp(normal) version only not the empty pages.

So that we will check once and let you know

I had to uninstall the plugin. In the set up I deseleted posts to try and get around the issue, but your plugin still blocked access to the shop area.
