Once I try to edit the inner pages, it gives me a message “You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.” Also, there is no option to update pages. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK. Every thing is done. Only one last thing is that if I open any page of code, e.g header.php etc. If I make any modification, update button is not there. I have set the preferences of wp content as 666. But it is not appearing.
