 * Hi Every Body
    Thanks in advance for your help.
 * I have installed city guide woo theme. Once I try to edit the inner pages, it
   gives me a message “You need to make this file writable before you can save your
   changes. See the Codex for more information.”
    Also, there is no option to update
   pages. Please guide me as to how I should make the pages editable.
 * Regards:

 * Thank you very much.
    I have read it but if you can please tell me specifically
   what to do, that would be great. Because I am unable to correct it even after
   reading it.
 * THanks

 * What FTP client are you using?

 * I deleted the previous theme and was trying to upload the theme again and after
   uplaod was complete, following message appeared.
    Unable to create directory
   wp-content/uploads/2012/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * I am totally confused. What I should do now?
 * Thanks

 * On which all files or folders, I need to change the permission setting. wp admin,
   wp contents or wp includes or any other file or folder.
 * I installed wp via file zilla. So it has all the default privilege settings.

 * You need to change the permissions on all the files you wish to edit eg the files
   in the city go woo theme.

 * This message appears
    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2012/12.
   Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * Although I have given full ‘755’ permission to wp-content.
 * Thanks for your co-operation.

 * You need to change to 666. 666 is best!

 * Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still
   have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the
   permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works
   OK.

 * Dear
 * Sorry to bother you so much.
    Now I have set all preferences correctly. wp content
   is 666 but still this message is appearing. Unable to create directory wp-content/
   uploads/2012/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * Which is this parent directory?
    Thanks

 * Thanks a lot for your help.
    Every thing is done. Only one last thing is that
   if I open any page of code, e.g header.php etc. If I make any modification, update
   button is not there. I have set the preferences of wp content as 666. But it
   is not appearing. Any idea that I should change which folder or file to get update
   button in editor.
 * Thanks once again

 * Ok that is also done.
 * Thank you so very much. Without your help, it was not possible.
 * Take care and bye
    Regards: Malik
