Woo: Sell licenses

    We need to release “Sell License Keys for Software” plugin license key and download link at a different order status point than ‘Completed’ – since we are offering ‘Net 30’ terms to civic organizations, we’ve set up a custom order status called ‘Net30Fulfilled’ and would like to deliver license key and download link when order is set to that status. It would be great if the ‘My-Account’ page could support download and license key disclosure at this point too, but email would suffice. Is there a built-in way to do this, or what is your best suggestion to get this done?

    Hi Elronado,

    I’m not getting the full picture in my mind from what you’re saying, but basically I do think the combination of these 2 plugins may be able to help you achieve what you’re looking for, and maybe add a little bonus?

    They could be worth checking out. Woocommerce’s own API Manager plugin is great for selling and managing licenses, though the documentation and actual how-to’s are a little beyond my scope of work. Here’s the link to it: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-api-manager/

    If you find this one won’t work out all that great for you, let me know. I may be able to dig up a better option if I go through all my browsing history of plugin research 😀

    As for managing order statuses, I found this is the best plugin to give us flexibility over that, and does have the option to set a “Executed Task” per say when the order status is changed.
