# woo permalinks

 * Our shop has the following link structure (SEO matter) –
    1. product – [https://randomurl.com/product-slug](https://randomurl.com/product-slug)
    2. product category – [https://randomurl.com/parent-category/category](https://randomurl.com/parent-category/category)
       
       Our SEO department excluded the word product and product-category from the url.
       Unfortunately, with this configuration all customized Urls return 404 in other
       languages.Is it possible to fix this somehow? Can we change url structure in
       plugin code?

 * Thank you for getting in touch.
 * As I wrote you privately as well, by default, WordPress should have these CPT
   bases in the URL structure. At the moment, it doesn’t work properly on translated
   pages if you remove them.
   However, we plan to launch a slug translation refactor
   which should be able to handle this situation properly. It will be released with
   one of the next versions of our plugin.
