When the site is using HPOS

(woocommerce, settings, advanced, features=Order Data Storage = HPOS) and you do not have “Enable Compatibility Mode” checked – then the Woo iOS applications does not trigger Sale Notifications.

When checking the “Enable Compatibility Mode” on – then the notifications work again.

Can you within the iOS App Settings set this or does it mean that the Sync will need to stay on for now?

    Thanks

    Kevin

This should be fixed since Jetpack version 12.3 . Please ensure that you are using the most up-to-date versions of both WooCommerce and Jetpack.

If the problem persists, please create a new support ticket from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support so we can move your request to our mobile team.

Make sure to include a link to this thread so we know what has been done already.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi yes updated everything and still only works when checking the sync checkbox, tried logging a ticket but only managed to send an email. Will just keep sync on and hopefully gets sorted in the future

    Hi there @kevinolivecreek 👋

Thank you for bringing this to our notice. Could you please contact the Mobile App Support Team directly, via Help > Contact support in the app? Thank you!

Just a quick update, for the benefit of others coming across this also.

The workaround is to enable High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) Compatibility Mode for now:

    1. Go to your WP-Admin Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features
    2. Check the Enable compatibility mode (synchronizes orders to the posts table) option

While the developers are working on fixing the issue urgently, we can’t yet give an exact timeframe for when that will be released.

We do not receive a WooCommerce app push notification when a new order is placed, and the status is set to “Pending Payment” due to the customer selecting payment with Zelle. Could this issue be connected to the bug discussed in this topic? and if so how can i fix?
