In our webshop firstelementsstore.com we use several countries in- and outside Europe to send out our products. At this moment we want to add a new country, Estland or Malta or…. and build up the shipping method with the same basic methods as the other countries.

But when we look at the chart by checking the country it tells us:

For example Estland: Shipping, There are no shipping options available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.

By previous made methods it tells us: f.e. USA: Shipping deliver to US: € 35,00

This means that it still works but it is impossible to add new “working” countries

Hopefully someone already find out the solutions when they had the same problem.

  • Hey there, @alcofloo! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Are you using the default WooCommerce shipping settings or are you using any plugins to set it up?

If you are using our default settings:

Can you please share some screenshots to help us investigate this further? I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    We need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone (please share this for all zones)
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone > Click on edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings (please share this for all methods)
    • The cart/checkout page with the issue

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Sorry for the late response, I was out of the office for a short period. We use the default WooCommerce settings, no plugin.

We use approx. 15 countries, which work well. They are there already for more than 4 months till 2 years. But last week we get this issue with adding new countries. No mather which country and which shipment method.

    Hi @alcofloo

    Thanks for sharing additional information.

From the screenshots you’ve shared, I can see that you’ve correctly set up Malta’s shipping zones and methods, yet it’s not working as expected. Also, you’ve added two zones for the Netherlands, which could be an issue for the Netherlands. Can you remove one and keep only one?

Once done, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear

Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again.

If the problem persists, it might be due to a plugin conflict, so I suggest temporarily deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue.

I look forward to your reply and further assisting you with this matter.

    Hi Shameem,

i’m sorry for the delay, but we had summer holiday till last week. I understand that it’s not the best excuse, but it is 🙂 . The problem isn’t solved at all, I tried all the options you asked and suggested, but it didn’t help at all.

Maybe you still will help me with this issue. Thanks in advance

    Hey, @alcofloo!

No need to apologize, we are here to help whenever you need 😃 I hope the summer holiday was great!

The problem isn’t solved at all, I tried all the options you asked and suggested, but it didn’t help at all.

Since the steps shared did not help, let’s try a conflict test to see if there’s something interfering with this.

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    — Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    — It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

You can find more about this in this guide.

Please let us know about your findings.

    Have a wonderful day!
