  • Yes, once you are editing the menu you want to add the categories to, click ‘Screen options’ in the top right corner of the screen. There you can find a checkbox for ‘Product categories’. Check that box and it adds a new box on the left where you can find all your product categories and add them to the menu.

Sweet – thank you so much!!!

maybe you can answer another one for me. In the theme I am using, there is a widget that shows in the top right corner, “My Account | Logout | Cart: 0 items – $0” .
I would like to change the the word “Cart” to something else and eliminate the dollar figure. Any suggestions?

Your theme probably has a file header.php where that is called via a function or whatever. You can change the output there. Maybe you’ll need to change the way the function works, but that is all dependant on what theme you use.

Best if you use a Child Theme for this kind of work, so you can always update your main theme once there is a new version available.
