Hi @superdep It might be your theme that needs to be translated into Danish. Otherwise, try to set both the site language and your admin user language to Danish. But, I think it is your theme that cause the problems.

Thank you for the response.
It seems quite illogical to me the way Woo Commerce works in terms of language. I would expect it to be separate from the WordPress language settings – I’d prefer to have all menus in English in my administration panels but just need the buttons in Danish.
Some guides say to manually download the files and put them in a certain directory manually.
Is there really no option to change the language in 2020? It seems by now everything is working by clicking and dragging and there’s no coding needed, so changing the language should be very very simple – it seems to me.
But if Woo Commerce is stopped by the theme not being in danish, does anyone know where I go from here?
Hi @superdep
If you only look for a simply way to change the text, you can try the plugin WooCommerce Customizer https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-customizer/
Regarding your theme, you can try if there is a Danish translation on your theme’s WordPress website.

It turns out the entire theme has been translated and is compatible with WordPress language settings -> meaning that when I set general settings to Danish then the settings under the theme customization is also in danish.
I just can’t see why everything in my storefront stays in English.
I now have every setting in Danish and everything in storefront English – the exact opposite of what I’d prefer.
It all fixed itself. So my guess is some kind of server delay lasting for days. No other explanation, but all good it seems.
