[resolved] won't save setting "User roles that can see the dashboard widget" (7 posts)

    i set "User roles that can see the dashboard widget" to admin and hit save but the plugin won't save that checkbox. noone can see the great widget...

    I am having the same problem. Check roles of those who can see the dashboard for analytics but they do no get save. Using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analyticator/

    Same issue here and the checked box won't stay same after saving the page settings.

    Looks like the author of the plugin went a little kses happy while fixing that security bug mentioned in the release notes. They started filtering the list of roles that can see the widget so thoroughly that it gets ripped apart not once but twice each time it's saved.

    Working on a patch.

    This patched version of the plugin fixes the "foreach" error that affects saving the roles checkboxes:

    There's another serious bug in the plugin that is harder to fix "Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Google_AuthException'". Not sure how to fix that.
