• Resolved Cloud Inspector

    Hello,

I have been successfully using the plugin to place a widget in the footer of my website. I would like to add it to the homepage though, so it is sure to be seen.

The plugin won’t look up my business when i try to add a widget within a page. I am using the Page Builder plugin from SiteOrigin. I can’t see this as being the reason it isn’t working though.

I read the forums and have found my ID. I manually enter it and the widget still doesn’t seem to grab my page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Dan

Please re-open this ticket, I can’t get the widget to function within a page. Thanks

I just tested with the free PageBuilder by Siteorigin plugin with our plugin and yes, it looks like they are completely incompatible at the moment.

I’ve added this to our Feature Request issue tracker, but I can’t say at the moment when we’ll be able to implement that new feature.

Thanks for the update Matt. I appreciate it. Do you think it would work if I created a plugin that added a widgetized area prior to the start of the page builder part of the page?

Potentially. I’ve also seen plugins on the repo that allow you to insert a widget using a shortcode. Lots of possibilities out there, but we will work on making that process more seamless with PageBuilder in the future.

    Thanks!
