I have a muitisite install with one site at the main domain and one at a subdomain:

On /wp-admin, in the ‘Wayback Link Fixer’ box, I see the ‘View links (number)’ button with:

    • a positive number (several hundreds) on the main site, and
    • exactly zero (“(0)“) on the subdomain.

    More about my setup:

    • My plugin install is not new, I let it run in the background for several weeks at least.
    • I have network-installed the plugin, then configured it separately for each site.
    • The actual settings for both sites are identical – I’ve double checked that manually during installation.
    • This issue may be related to multisite, subdomains or both.

    Additional info:

    • Most of the posts and pages are created with the internal block editor. The minority are made with the Elementor Page Builder, which, as of this writing, has an open topic.
    • Internet Archive Wayback Machine Link Fixer version 1.3.4
    • Elementor Core Version 3.33.4
    • Elementor Pro Version 3.33.2
    • Theme: Hello Elementor 3.4.5 with child theme
    • WordPress version 6.9
    • PHP version 8.2.29

    Thanks in advance 👍🏻

Hi @gilad404, thank you for the report. Right now the plugin does not have multisite support, but we are working on it. This is a use case we plan to support. Thanks for your patience, we’ll ping you in this thread when we have a release with multisite support.

I came across the ‘multisite’ question in the FAQ and can confirm that site-wide activation works!

I have network-disabled the installed plugin, then activated it separately on each site, starting from the existing main site. The immediate results are:

    • On the first site (main), all the preferences and link statistics remained untouched.
    • On the second site (sub), the plugin started checking links – the dashboard doesn’t display zeros anymore.

Note: I saw this FAQ answer COMPLETELY BY CHANCE, instead of being updated through this thread. That is quite annoying but manageable. This knowledge sharing issue is located between the keyboard and the chair.
