Won't get the NextGen Gallery menu entry

    I just installed NextGen Gallery and wondered how to use it when I saw that I should get an entry in the admin menu. But that entry isn’t there. I deactivated all the other plug-ins and changed the theme – no change.
    Do I miss something?

    I use WP 3.9.1 with the Make theme by The Theme Foundry.

    What could I check? Thanks for your help!
