Wonderful product, excellent customer service

Initially, UpdraftPlus v. 1.8.2 did not work for my WordPress installation (v. 3.8, deployed on a standard GoDaddy account) and I posted to the support forum. By the end of the day, a new version, 1.8.5, had been released and it worked like a charm, and, bonus, the plugin author was so attentive and helpful that I learned a bit about what goes on under the hood e.g. the PHP database API and logging. The author has produced a high quality product with awesome support. UpdraftPlus is a great product. I highly recommend it.

Regarding backup targets, first, I used Google Drive to store the backups but became nonplussed by its seemingly unnecessary complexity and inelegant, inefficient, clumsy, and patched together UI. Next, I tried DropBox and, voilà, it worked with just a few clicks: simple and beautiful.
