 * I need to move the blog from the referenced site from WIX to WordPress. What 
   is the best way to do this to ensure preservation of the SEO history? This is
   a well seasoned blog. I need to propose a plan to my client. Thank you.

 * We are not familiar with Wix or website migrations. As a courtesy we can only
   say that if Wix stores the SEO data in a database AND that database is compatible
   with WordPress you would need to ensure the database is correctly migrated to
   the new WordPress site.

 * In order to move your blog from Wix without SEO rankings lost, you should do 
   that manually, just follow this [transfer guide](https://superbwebsitebuilders.com/how-to-switch-from-wix-to-wordpress/)
   to cope with. Blog posts made in Wix come with ulr like _/post/post-title_. So
   you have to make the same URLs for the new WordPress blog. Also do not forget
   to transfer metatags and enable rich snippets if needed.
