I’ve noticed that if my product has variable information, like different sizes, there is an issue when one of the sizes sells out.

For example, let’s say for a particular product the Smalls are in stock but the Mediums are sold out. Even though the size “Mediums” are sold out, it still displays “Medium” as an option in the drop-down menu for size. Then, once I click on “Medium,” The dropdown menu collapses and it displays the selection as being a size “Small.”

This could cause ordering confusion: Some customers may not notice that their selection has switched to a different size than the one they clicked on. Is there any way to fix this? I would like for the sold-out sizes to be displayed in the dropdown menu as gray, unclickable options that say “Medium- sold out.”

    My site is Dorici

  • There is some limitations with woocommerce, It’s not built in that item variations would be grayed or disappear if sold out. What should happen though is the product should just stay on the medium and say out of stock.

Can you post a link to the product that this is occurring on. I can’t duplicate it.
