• Hello:

After the update of the plugin to version 1.4, the design of my website (letralia.com) suffered a glitch. It started to look like this:

When I deactivated the plugin, the layout returned to normal, as you can see in this other screenshot:

I have also installed your “Easy PayPal & Stripe Button” plugin, which worked perfectly for me.

    Can you help me?

    Hi @jorgeletralia,

Sorry about that! Looking into now.

    1. Does it affect your entire site? Or only the pages that have Donation buttons?
    2. Is there a way you can enable the plugin so I can view your site and see what is causing the problem?

We just released a big update yesterday for the plugin, so I’ll be checking this thread every few minutes throughout the day looking for your reply.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott:

Yes, it does affect the entire website. Not just the pages with donation button. The donation buttons are on a single page.

I might reactivate the plugin if we do it for a short time. I have advertisers who won’t be happy if they see our website unconfigured.

If you tell me a time, we can check it out (it’s 5:03 pm here and I’ll be at the computer for a while longer).

    Jorge.

Right now. I already activated the plugin so you can take a look at it. Please let me know when you are done or if you need any additional information.

I just noticed this warning at the bottom of the website. It says that there was a critical error in WordPress.

    Looking now.

Thanks, you can put the site back to normal now.

    1. Have you tried refreshing the cache of autoptimize? That may fix it.
Edit – 2. Are you only seeing the ‘critical error’ warning when the Donation plugin is active? Are you able to see the error log for what that error is?

    Thanks, Scott.

    1. Yes, clearing the Autoptimize cache and the Varnish cache were my first choices. I just did it again and the result is the same.
    2. The CSS .wppsac-post-slider corresponds to the WP Responsive Recent Post Slider plugin, which displays the latest news on front page. When using the CSS you indicate me (.wppsac-post-slider { display: none; }) the plugin simply stops displaying those latest news but the error persists; therefore, it is not an option for me.

It is possible that there is a conflict between your plugin and some other plugin. I tried activating your plugin and deactivating WP Responsive Recent Post Slider but the result is the same. Then with more time I will deactivate the other plugins looking for the problem.

Thank you very much for your quick response.

Thanks for working with me to get this solved, and sorry again!

I’ll start testing out WP Responsive Recent Post Slider right now to see if I can find an issue between the two.

    Thank you!

When this happens, are all of the CSS-files loading succesfully, or do some not load (404à? Does this problem also occur when CSS optimization in Autoptimize is turned off (for a minute)?
