css of cart update notification text fails with latest WC version 8.5.1

hi,

Once I update the plugin from 8.4.0 to 8.5.1, I experience design issues with cart update notification text. For example: “Cart updated.” or “Item has been added to your cart”. Somehow now these are displayed in a green shaped box.
Is there any specific reason why css fails here? Tried to disable all other plugins, did not help.

I am seeing exactly the same issue upgrading from 8.4.0 to 8.5.1 (note looking above teh onl similaty i see in details posited is I also use elementor on my site). When I inspect and compare the css elements i see different wc css classes are being set in woocommerce-notices-wrapper

8.4.0 – woocommerce-message

8.5.1 – wc-block-components-notice-banner is-success this is messing up my fomrat and if i overwrite this in chrome with woocommerce-message the format is correct, aside from also displaying wc-block-components-notice-banner is-success which is loading http://www.w3.org/2000/svg and showing a rogue tick on the screen.

You made a change in 8.5.1 to notices i.e Fix – Fixed a bug that prevented notice templates from being overwritten. [#43506]. Is this whats caused this?

No need to change css this was a bug in woocommerce and this now looks fixed in woocommerce 8.6.0.
Fix – Fixed an issue where the notices shown in classic themes were using the updated styles. #44283
