Support » Plugin: YITH WooCommerce Wishlist » WIshlist Page Share Social Icons Not Loading

  • I have been having this problem for many weeks now. The Facebook and Twitter social icons will not load on the wishlist page no matter what I try. the email icon loads just fine.

I have tried deactivating my caching plugin, deactivating my Cloudflare caching, and clearing my browser caching. None of it seems to work.

Here is an example picture of what I am talking about.

On a related note, is there a way to code my custom font icon into this? I noticed that you allow me to upload an individual file (I am assuming a JPG or PNG) but this would have the shortcoming of not being a font in every format and optimized for Internet Explorer like official fonts are.

I have my custom icon font already uploaded and its image tag is active. In the coding of the wish list page in inspect tool, it shows, “<i class=”fa fa-facebook-official”></i>”. I can custom CSS my own icon class to get it to insert my own icon, but I just don’t know what class ID to reference as the class since I feel like <li class=”share-button”> entered on my site-wide custom CSS editor may cause conflicts with other buttons on other parts of the site because this class name is so generic. Also, I don’t know what custom CSS coding I would enter to insert my own icon there.

    Hi there

If you share with me an url to your site, I’ll be happy to check the issue
If you could also show me a page on your site where I can see the share icons bundled with your theme, I’d be happy to provide with a custom CSS that will replace our FontAwesome icons with the one from your theme 🙂

My apologies for not getting back sooner. Shortly after I sent this message, the icons started loading again as designed.

As far as the custom icons code is concerned, I would be absolutely delighted if you could show me the custom code to load my own icons. My site is in coming soon mode so none of it is accessible from a non-logged in user. I am speaking about the social share icons on the wish list page itself (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). I am fairly sure this would be the same for any site layout. If you just give me the general code to do so then I could insert it. You can do it with say [insert your icon id here] written and that should suffice for me to be able to take it from there, should it not?

My Shareable links don’t show up at all
