I’m probably the only WP user who would even vaguely think this would be a useful feature, but I’d love it if WP was able to save a draft copy of a published post, to allow ongoing editing or content addition to the post without those edits or that content appearing live, and then for that version to replace the published version when you are ready to release the new changes / additions. Of course, if your edits and additions are all being done in one session, you just edit and save. But I tend to evolve posts over several different editing sessions, so saving them in WP would end up with incomplete additions being published.
Currently I achieve this by copying, pasting and editing published posts on my local machine, and while that’s workable, it would be a nice feature to see in WP.
