Very buggy, hasn’t worked since 3.1.1 and developer hasn’t updated or been active in trying to find a solution to the problem. Looking for an alternative with better support.

Do not even bother using! I’ve been experiencing constant database errors, debugging points to this plugin. DO NOT USE!

  • Did you manage to find an alternative? I could really do with this functionality for a client but this is way too buggy and there doesn’t seem much point asking for support.

I’ve found others similar but lacks customization or is just as buggy as this one.

Gutted. This one makes my main nav disappear and some customised content. 🙁

Been looking for something to replace this and found something a little more complex but way more convenient.

    This is the plugin…

…and to get around the fact it doesn’t have separate pulldowns for parent categories I’ve added new taxonomies instead. This is reasonably easy to do with the instructions on the following link…

A little more complex but it seems pretty stable and much more customisable.

The fact that it doesn’t allow you to exclude and makes you include and doesn’t support separate drop downs for parent categories, doesn’t look like something I can use. Thanks for the suggestion though, maybe it will develop into something better later.

    Ultimate WP Query Search Filter!!!!!

It doesn’t allow for includes, uses excludes but it is FANTASTIC! Made the switch and will not look back!
