# Wipe Settings Not Working

 * Your plugin stopped working after running fine for a year and runs fine 2 other
   sites I manage. Yet I cannot figure out why it is not working. I even asked the
   host for the error log and they said there are no errors reported in the log.
 * I am trying to Wipe Setting and that is not even working. After completing with
   no errors the settings are still there even after refreshing the page.
 * I want to wipe the settings and delete the plugin. This means I want all database
   information like the tables related to updraft-plus deleted.
 * Then I will try a fresh install of the app and see if that works.
 * So how do I wipe the settings and have it work?
    Next, how do I delete the app
   so that it deletes all residual database information too?

 * Note that some web browsers, if you refresh the page, will remember what you 
   had entered in forms. To truly refresh, you need to close the tab, and open a
   new one (not just use the reload button).

 * Yes I tried that. I also deleted the plug-in and reinstalled and the settings
   were still there.

   have any cache plugin installed, If yes Can you purge all the cache including
   Object cache?

 * No, I don’t have a cache plugin. I don’t need this troubleshot anymore. I was
   trying this to delete it to reinstall fresh. What I did instead was restore from
   a backup.
 * My real issue is backups are failing. So I wanted to restore to a previous version
   that worked and see if that was the problem.
 * Please archive this thread as I have a thread already for the backup failures.
