Windows phone 8.1 vertical scrolling broken on Meta Slider

Has anyone tested vertical scrolling on Windows phone?
It simply doesn’t seem to work. To scroll users either have to select the area directly above or below Meta Slider.
Is this a know glitch? It impacts every Meta Slider site I tested including the official demo sites: https://www.metaslider.com/examples/photography-site/
The glitch is not present on Android or iOS that both allow users to vertically scroll on MetaSlider.
Tested on both Windows phone emulator (on Windows 8.1) and a Physical Nokia handset.
