I have been developing using the twenty fourteen theme and there appears to be a problem with the current windows phone 8 software(on a Lumia 920 viewing DThomas.co) not showing the correct screen size/media query version or scaling properly.
Oddly the demo of the theme on wordpress.com works perfectly. It looks to me like the phone is ignoring the width=device-width meta tag and reporting a larger screen size (possibly due to the high resolution). I have pulled the meta tags out of one of my php non-cms sites that does work correctly and slotted that in but it is still not working correctly. Any thoughts anyone? Is there something in the base WordPress that could overwrite the meta tags? Is there something that the wordpress.com hosted theme has that the release of twenty fourteen doesn’t?
