# Windows Live Writer Problem

 * I can’t setup a new account at Windows Live Writer blog editor. I keep getting
   the following error message:
    _ An error occurred while attempting to connect
   to your blog:
 * Invalid Server Response – The reponse to the blogger.getUsersBlogs method received
   from the blog server was invalid:
 * Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server
 * You must correct this error before proceeding.
 * I’ve already edited the control panel at wordpress that allows me to remote edit
   my self hosted blog. By the way, it’s hosted at locaweb hosting server ([http://www.locaweb.com.br](http://www.locaweb.com.br)).
   I didn’t get any error message when I registered the same account at blogjet 
   editor. I wonder why.

 * I think you may need to contact your host. But there is a suggested fix [here ](http://forum.locaweb.com.br/showthread.php?t=4595)
   that you may want to try first.
