 * you could also use visual editor plugin and copy and paste the word document
   right into the plugin

 * Hi
    Thank you for your suggestions but I am afraid none of them tell me how to
   get a Word page, formatted, images etc onto a page on my WordPress site whilst
   retaining the layout.
 * Is there a plugin to help me do this?

 * Hi Dale,
 * I’m afraid you might have to do this in two steps, I don’t know of any plugin
   that will parse Word documents the way you want it.
 * What you’ll want to do is follow the suggestion from Tara that you should upload
   the images from the document your self manually.
 * Follow this up by just copying the entire content of your Word document (Select
   all and choose “Copy”), then paste it into the editor in WordPress.
    The editor
   will do it’s best to format it as it was in the document, but because of the
   nature of Word documents formatting, this might not always succeed and you may
   need to do some manual adjustments no matter what.

 * Hi
    Thank you for your help, think I have now sorted it.
 * Converted word document to jpg, via pdf, it will then upload normally, need to
   do one page at a time!
 * Thank you all again for your help
    Phil
