    Hi,

Your retina-plugin is working fine on all Android, Mac and iOS devices, but with Windows we have some issues.

For example; we are using a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro with a 13.3-inch 3.200 by 1.800 pixels display. But no retina images are shown on this device, not at 100% scaling for W8, nor at 200% scaling. Also not in IE and not in Chrome. Shouldn’t it be showing retina images or am I missing something here?

    Thanks

If you type “window.devicePixelRatio” in Chrome Developer Tools, what value do you get?

It says “1” but I don’t understand why, looking at the ppi 🙂

Yes that’s a bit strange but it depends on the browser and obviously this laptop is not supported yet. “Retina” and high-dpi is a new concept so it will take some time before it works nicely everywhere 🙂

Yeah, I read that Chrome is totally not ready for hdpi on Windows but IE should be. That browser should also be showing retina-images, if available. Is it also because of this “1” ratio that IE does not show them?

If this ratio is 1, then it is the problem… I don’t know I never had the chance to try Internet Explorer with retina displays…

Ok, thanks for your help. I’ll try to find a way to check it in IE en let you know here.
