# window.reactPress – undefined

 * I have in my localwp environmwnt added successfuly my react app and WP site. 
   both pretty mature.
   All plugins and software – updated to latest versions.I MUST
   have authentication and permission in my react app.I tried `console.log(window.
   reactPress)` but I get _undefined_
 * Using chrome devtools debugger I could not find any object with similar name.
 * What am I missing?

 * Did you create your React app with vite or CRA? Are you talking about a build
   app or you the localhost (aka `npm run dev`)?
 * My first guess is, that you have a custom React setup.
