    This is a pre-sales questions but WC support directed me here. I have a multi vendor site. Basically I have Seller Accounts (they pay a monthly fee) and buyer accounts, which are free.

    It’s not overly complicated the sellers are selling off excess stock from Amazon as big discounts in order to encourage good reviews from the buyers.

    My question is pretty straightforward. can I set up WC membership/subscription addons to allow me to give away a free account to buyers (subscribers) and create a product with a monthly recurring costs for sellers (vendors on my site)

    The only thing that really has to happen is when a seller buys he account level is made “Vender” on my site… and buyers always have free accounts so I can’t imagine that is hard.

    It looks like it might be possible reading the docs, but honestly they don’t hit it dead on what I’m looking for so I figured I would double check to see if anyone has a clue on this?

    Hi @bkkcanuck,

    That’s an interesting site you’re working on. You should be able to set this up with Memberships, Product Vendors, and Subscriptions. There isn’t a way to automatically create a vendor when someone purchases a membership. What you could do though is grant access to the vendor sign up form only to people who’ve purchased the correct product.

    All of the extensions from WooCommerce.com come with a 30 refund window. So you can purchase them and try them out. That would be the best way to make sure everything works the way you expect.

    But based on your description, I do think this will work for you.
