Will this not work properly on a staging site?

I have tried all variations of the shortcode so I could see what it looks like and nothing changes – most specifically I wanted to see the Accordion Layout. Also, categories does not show up. Search does not work – I type in one of the store dummy info and it does not come up. I want to test this out on a staging site before I bring it over to a live site – so how do I make that happen and have all features work properly? Right now on staging site does not matter what I change or what shortcode I use nothing changes.
