    Thanks a lot for this! The new admin section is full of promos and makes self-hosted WooCommerce stores feel like part of an Automattic SaaS platform.

    I’d like to use this for all my projects but wanted to check if this workaround will continue to work long term? Or could Automattic do something to disable it?

    I just tried it, doesn’t seem to work on 4.1.

    it worked for me on 4.1 but the basic filter does not seem to work any longer. It’s as if Woo removed the filter hook.

    add_filter( ‘woocommerce_admin_disabled’, ‘__return_true’ );

    I still have that in my theme functions.php file on it’s own no longer worked with 4.1 but with that and this plugin it still seems to disable then….not sure why.

    Hi there,

    YES, plugin is compatible with WooCommerce 4.1.X. It still removes unnecessary stuff and furthermore IT REMOVES THE NEW MARKETING MENU ITEM (Yippee-ki-yay!)
