Will re importing demo data cause post loss or page set up loss?

I’m looking at re-importing the demo data to get the example shopping page they set up. I downloaded the demo data 6 months ago and deleted the shopping page so I can’t bring it back from the Trash.
I’m worried that if I re import the theme, it’ll either mess up my entire web page set up or delete all my posts or content I’ve put up. I haven’t re imported yet but am looking to get some answers before I do!

The best answer that anyone here can give now is “maybe”.
Under most circumstances I’d say that it would mess things up. Most demo data is meant to be set up once, and then forgotten about. Trying to import it again has a good chance of over-writing a lot.
BUT, this may be different depending on your theme, so you would be best off asking in the support forum for your theme and the author should be able to tell you pretty easily.
Another alternative is to set up a seperate demo site, and set up the demo data on there and copy the shop page content across to your live site.
