    Hi Tobias
I’m very much excited about TP 2.0, very well done!

As a longtime user of the five extensions below I wonder what happens when I would just upgrade the free version. Will they stop working?
Most importantly: is turning off output caching included in the premium plans? This was crucial for one site totally dependent of TP.

Looking forward to hear from you.

I’ve found three more extensions I’ve purchased (if applicable) before:

    Automatic URL conversion 1.3
    DataTables Buttons 1.5
    Hide Columns/Rows from logged-out users 1.0

    Hi @lukashuggenberg,

thanks for your post and the interest in TablePress 2.0!

In short: Existing Extensions will in principle continue to work fine, even if they are now part of a TablePress Premium version!

That said, not all of Extensions that you mention are now part of TablePress Pro or Max. From those that you list, “Remove Edit Link”, “Turn off Output Caching”, “Automatic URL conversion”, and “Hide Columns/Rows from logged-out users” are not.

The others have received a nice overhaul with several enhancements and they are now much easier to configure, thanks to a direct integration into the user interface (i.e. no more dealing with error-prone Shortcode parameters).

So, existing Extensions will continue to work with TablePress 2.0 and very likely also with future versions. I will no longer be supporting or updating them, but I will also not make any purposeful changes in TablePress to break them, or limit them, or turn them off!

Hope this clears things up a bit 🙂

    Regards,
    Tobias
