  • Delete the plugin folder at wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/ using FTP (don’t use Delete option on Plugins page as this may erase all CF7 forms) and install the plugin again.

you use the private web server?

I generally have a guy that handles this kind of thing for me because I am clueless. He is out of town. I am on my dashboard under plugins and do not see Contact Form 7 plugin in the installed or in the Editor.

    Private web server ????

    Thanks for trying

Contact Form 7 in no longer in my plugins. Still will not install. Anybody have a good alternative for Contact Form 7?
    Thanks!

Learning to use FTP to deal with problems like this is pretty simple and well worthwhile.

However if you just want a simple Contact Form, installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/si-contact-form/ will probably fix your problem in this instance.

The problem was that I had over 5gb in my error_log. This killed my disk space and played heck with my site. I do not know anything about the why or how it happened. Support explained it with a bunch of acronyms that is greek to me.

    Thanks for the help, Andy

Over 5gb in your error log indicates major problems in your WordPress install. I’d recommend you get someone independent from the guy out of town to look at your server if this site is important for your business.
