# Will Not Login

 * Okay I seriously screwed up. I changed the General Settings of my website from
   localhost/wordpress/ to a new URL and now I cannot log back into the account.
   When I go to the WP login page, I enter my login then it keeps refreshing. I 
   used XAMPP to do my localhost install. Does anyone know how to override my mistake?

 * It appears as though I have somehow forced it into some kind of loop. It changes
   the URL each time I login but it just keeps asking me to login.

 * FYI fixed the issue added this code:
 *  `define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘[http://localhost/wordpress/&#8217](http://localhost/wordpress/&#8217););
   
   define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘[http://localhost/wordpress/&#8217](http://localhost/wordpress/&#8217););`

 * I was instructed to change some passwords, but now get message when trying to
   login “Erro establishing Database Connection – Username and password information
   in your wp-config-php file is incorrect or we can’t contact database server at
   dev1313706251744.db.11099391.
