    Hi All,

I noticed that jQuery 1.9.1 and jQuery Migrate are included in WordPress 3.6 Beta 1.
I just wanted to ask if jQuery Migrate will be officially included and loaded by default on all pages in WordPress 3.6 as it is now in the beta version?
jQuery Migrate is really useful and will give the theme and plugin developers more time to get the code ready for the latest jQuery.

    Thank you in advance!

    Thats a very good idea!

  3. If it's not in there now, it likely won't be included for 3.6 - We try not to make big changes after Beta.

Also we won't be moving to jQuery 2.0 yet, since it drops support for IE 7 and 8.

    Thank you for the reply!

I can see that it is there now and it is loaded on all pages - both admin and fron-end pages, which is great as jQuery 1.9 removed many of the previously implemented functions and without the jQuery Migrate, it may result in many JavaScript errors and broken scripts.
I really hope that it will be kept as it is now and loaded in the official release by default.

  5. If it's there now, it's staying :) It's just one of those 'If it's NEW right now, no.'

Seems it will be included and I've been testing 3.6 with it for a week now.

Found that the jQuery update destroys the CSV 2 POST interface so I'm already reverting some test blogs to 3.5 to continue general development. Tabs, Buttons and Dialog all fail. Going to be a lot of fun when this new WP is released lol
