    In multisite installation:

    Main website “example.com”
Subsite: “giraffe.example.com” mapped domain to “giraffe.com”

Can WebFacing works when login in “giraffe.com”?

How about if mapped domain disabled and the user login in “giraffe.example.com”?

Hello and thanks for the question, happy to answer.

The plugin does not support domain mapping (by such plugin). Domain mapping by plugin is not necessary to have a separate domain for a subsite. If giraffe.com is the domain of the subsite home url, and this domain is an addon domain in cPanel, then this is shown (to local admins on subsites).

In case a site uses a subdomain, email addresses of the subdomain is shown, but not sub.sub.domains.

In conclusion, cPanel domains limit what can be shown. When not super admin, only domain for current subsite is shown.

If there is a real need for other email domains for subsite admins, a new filter can be implemented in a later version.

I think this will need an extra filter to allow even other domains for site admins, or always allow for $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'].

Please reply if interested and have confirmed that it currently does not work. I may try to find a safe fix.

Currently I still in Nginx server and willing to migrate to cPanel server.

Right now still cannot confirm if WebFacing works or not. I will test it once migrated.

For your info, I’m developing SaaS using WP Ultimo and the client need email of their own domain.

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback.

This plugin only works with cPanel, as stated in the description.
