will it work using MAMP?

    This might be a stupid question, but I am building a site using MAMP (the client hasn’t given me the ftp username/password yet for the site they created for me. Will the plugin work (i.e. send me an email if I put in my name and email) while the files are not online yet?

    I developed it locally on MAMP. Just ensure that you can send emails via your MAMP server. Also I have found that everything sent VIA MAMP ends up in the spam folder.
