will 2 installations of yoast impact SEO?

Hello,

I have 2 wordpress installations. http://www.example.com and another in http://www.example.com/blog

Both have separate installations of yoast. Will there be any impact on SEO under such a setup? Think sitmap and submitting site to search engines.

Can you please guide how to implement yoast in such a situation and provide a guide on site map generation and site submission and warn about any other issue before we actually do the process.
