• I have an existing WordPress blog and a separate Dokuwiki documentation site. I am considering using your product to merge the documentation into the blog. However, I want the “normal” blog posts to stay unchanged and the Wiki documentation to be accessible off its own page which acts like a normal blog entry (I would attempt to make it a sticky entry at the top of the recent blog posts list). Will this be possible?

  • Hey there AMV22,

    Hope you’re well today!

Wiki is a custom post type and is using archive to display all its posts so they function completely separated from regular blog posts.

This means you can have both regular blog posts and wikis on the same site without any issues.

Please let me know if you have additional questions 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan

Thank you, Bojan. Is there a demo site somewhere where I can see it in action. The things I need to verify

    1. Will I be able to display a dokuwiki style treeview index on the main wiki page
    2. Is there a function to make the Wiki easily searchable
    3. A side issue – I would like to display images from an external source (my CDN) to keep my server traffic voliume low. Any issues there?

    Hey again AMV22,

Unfortunately we do not have demo sites where you could check this out.

    1. I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to have there. While premium version has tags and categories, free version just allows you to have wikis and sub wikis.

    2. Wikis are easily searchable.

    3. I don’t believe you should have any issues there.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
