Width too big for Instagram – must be less than 1080px

    hello, I had attached a photo as big as a thumbnail, but I had ticked in the option of your plugin the box next to “Resize picture if needed”, and yet it brought me this error “Width too big for Instagram – must be less than 1080px “, so as not to publish anything even on other social connected with jetpack. how can I solve? Thank you

    Hello wiky76 shrink the picture by hand to 1080px then everything works great.
    This has solved the problem with me. It affects only the thumbnails to the contribution.

    yes, but it’s not very practical: and then what is the use of that option that says it will automatically reduce the size?

    In your case yoiu have forgot to check “Bypass control of width and height”
    Once done, it will not control any longer the size and height of your photo before sending it to Instagram.
