Width of blog div, look, with links.. please help

Hey Guys,

Been out of site creation for a while, busy with my homepage now. As you can see I have a single blog with several categories and the rest is filled with content, namely pages. What I would like is for the blog to be displayed as the pages(with the sidebar next to it).
Now the blog is wide and pushes the sidebar below it.. which doesn’t look well, in my opinion. Anyone have an idea how to fix this.. ben browsing the code, but I can’t find it..

P.S. And does anyone know how I can display pages that have parent pages.. Whenever I create a page it shows in the menu, but child pages stay hidden.. should I link to them manually?
