width content

    @guydekort

    I’am new to wordpress and trying to integrade wordpres in my site. I load the index.php in a existing table (by the include(); php function).

    I just want to have limited blog functions so I removed most of the header, footer and sidebar. But now the width of the content in my table is aprox. 60%. id like to be 90% but I cant seem to find the setting. I’d think its in the style.CSS file. where and how do I change the width of the content.

    Is there a explanation file of different CSS classes?

  • you could post the url, so its easy for some to check

    yeah post the URL, or at least some of the main portion of your CSS file, and the code in the existing table.

    PS. Why a table??

    why a table…I love tables

    don’t love tables, love divs!

    Agreed – tables are a mess and load too slowly.

    but tables result often the sameway in multiple browsers. Div don’t give me enough stucture. (that my personal problem)

    you should fool around with divs. i used to think the same way.. but anything you can do with tables, you can do with divs! ..i promise!

    they are much cleaner, and pretty much define structure these days!
