• I just got back on my WordPress and wanted to make some changes to my site before I publish and promote it. When I checked the site my side-bar widget was reverted back to the default text that appears when you just install the theme I have (Music Maker Theme). When I try to update the widget nothing happens, I’ve tried to find this issue elsewhere but none of the fixes seem to apply to me. This is the only them I’ve used and this has never happened to me up until now. Granted I haven’t checked WordPress since last month, but it’s still an issue.

If you temporarily switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme, do you have any trouble updating widgets under Twenty Fifteen.

I know the widgets will be different, but we’re just trying to see if there’s a problem with widgets on your site in general, or if the problem is specifically Music Maker + widgets.

It seems to work fine with the Twenty Fifteen theme.

Ok, since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
