    Hi,

    Please would it be possible to add the fix to the theme to be downloaded via updates?
    I have the small boy, welcome note and bottom widget areas where they are not supposed to be, and cannot remove them.
    The website is http://angieswickedkitchen.com, which is currently in maintenance mode as it cannot be live looking like it does.
    I am not CSS literate (hangs head in shame).
    I cannot download the updated fix, as it says the file already exists.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Please follow the following steps to fix your issue;
    Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Basic Setting=> And click in the Hide default content from theme=> Then save it.

    Thanks

    Thank you, this has resolved the problem. However I am having another issue I hope you can help with. I have just linked my first blog to facebook and when the link on facebook is selected (http://happyhomesolutions.com.au/5-steps-to-a-clutter-free-home/), the image on the blog won’t display on certain devices, eg. ipad and iphone. It does display on laptop though? Are you able to provide any assistance with this issue. Thanks so much. Amanda

    Hi amandameyer,

    It seem’s that you have activate the mobile theme of Jetpack plugin, so please deactivate it to fix your issue.

    Thanks

    Fixed. Thank you so much.

    I have just noticed another issue with my webpage when displayed on a mobile phone. If my web address http://www.happyhomesolutions.com.au is typed into the web search area, the website menu button doesn’t work. However, if I access my website through a link on my facebook business page, the menu button works. This problem isn’t occurring on tablets, just mobile phones. I have tested both Iphone and Androids. Please help. Thank you. Amanda

    As an update to my previous query, I have just added a new page to my website happyhomesolutions.com.au and accessing my website via my phone doesn’t display the new page, however ipad and laptop do. If I access my website through facebook on my phone, the website works and displays the new page. Please help, this is very frustrating.
    Thank you. Amanda

    I have just worked out the issue. Deactivating the Jetpack plugin for mobile theme was causing the issue (this was suggested in a previous fix). Reactivating it now has my website updating on phones again. Unless you can suggest another fix, I will have to keep the Jetpack plug in activated. Amanda
