Support » Theme: Spacious » Widgets of Theme “Spacious” not working after domain change

  • During development, I had the site published under a temporary domain.
Yesterday the name servers were changed, today the site is active under the new domain. Today I also changed the domain name in the main settings of WordPress.
I am using the Theme “Spacious”

All pages with static content are working. However, the start page should show a slider (with two images alternating) and a “TG: Sevices” widget (on the first business area). If I activate the slider on all pages, it also does not show. So it is not the start page that has a problem, but the widgets. How can I get the widgets to work after the domain change?
    Thanks for your help!

Turns out the home page was set to a page that was no more visible.
For some (unknown) reason in the previous domain the slider and widget was displayed even then. Maybe also a caching issue (but yes, I do Ctrl-R quite often).
Anyways, maybe this helps other persons solving a similar problem.

    Hi @birrered,

Have you tried disabling all the plugins? Sometimes the issue might be caused due to a plugin conflict so you can start by disabling all the plugins within your site and then check. You can then enable them one by one to locate the one causing the issue and let me know. You can refer to this link for more information regarding this: https://docs.themegrill.com/knowledgebase/detecting-a-faulty-plugin/
